As mentioned in the section on dyslexia, children with learning and reading disabilities will find it difficult to master calculations, and they use their fingers to count. The child knows the answer, but is unable to put it down on paper. He/She can also count well, but is unable to count objects and cannot work with money. The arithmetic questions in words cannot be done and the child battles to understand algebra and higher mathematics.
