the Readers are Leaders programme for our son Taine.

Taine is at DPHS in Grade 5.  We bought the programme when he was in the

second term of Grade 4.  It has taken dedication on his part, as he tries his best

to work on Readers are Leaders at least three times a week.

He has also put in a lot of hard work himself, but I honestly feel that the programme

has enhanced his learning skills.  Since having used the programme, Taine has been

in the top 5 of his grade EVERY single term.  In fact, he achieved first place for the

4th term of Grade 4!! We are also using the Afrikaans version.

I am constantly amazed at his reading skills in Afrikaans.  I can only attribute it to

Readers are Leaders.

"Since receiving the above programme in September 1999 for use in our Remedial lessons,

we are continually thrilled with the results.

At the end of six months, each child is assessed on his/her progress. We have noticed

that some of the children using this programme have increased their comprehension

reading age by up to two years. Their reading speed and reading age in accuracy have

also show excellent results.

We found that the children, who range in age from 8 years to 13 years, thoroughly enjoy

the stories, comprehension, vocabulary, sequencing and language and find them

challenging. Both regular and remedial schools, private homes and remedial clinics should find this

programme beneficial. The programme applies equally to children who are coping at

school as well as those who have reading problems."

sukses behaal word.

belangstelling verloor nie.
